Captains Log. Earthdate 2022. Drake's needs an intergalactic alliance to migrate from their current platform to one more fitting their needs. They seek urgent help from an expert crew with a track record of migrating sites to new platforms.

Drake's is a high-end fashion brand offering quality products. Founded in East London in 1977, it produces timeless pieces that exude elegance, today boasting stores in London, New York, and Seoul. It has gained a reputation as a stable high-end fashion retailer, and its products are worn by artists, actors, chefs, writers, photographers, and everyone in between.

But Drake’s needed a crew to help overcome data migration and backend integration when launching the re-platform. The crew needed to create a site with a functional UX focused on enabling Drake's internal team to do more.

The Solution

Brave the Skies sent a rescue team to Drake's mission control with a solution to expertly migrate from the current Magento site to the new Shopify site. Their mission was to improve current integrations for a more functional process while enhancing the UX. Drake's mission control agreed, and the mission began.

Because Drake’s operated globally, it needed a site that could seamlessly cater to different markets while offering the same quality service expected by Drake's customers. Our crew worked closely with Drake’s consultancy firm to implement Global-E and launch an international storefront. Global-E connects all markets to the internal management system, allowing for harmonious stock updates between the site and all the markets in operation. Implementing Globel-E helped customers quickly see product availability and upcoming restocks, boosting conversions as a result.

The results

Mission log status: complete. Drake's landing on its new platform was a complete success.

Following the migration from Magento to Shopify Plus, Drake's broke its own sales records, with online orders skyrocketing up 153%, the conversion rate increasing by 14%, and the average order value improving by 32%. Better still, the rate of returning customers grew by 21%.
