We’re looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our crew and help us to launch some of the best ecommerce sites mankind has ever seen.

Requirements

The following are types of tasks you may be responsible for completing as part of this role, and core requirements:

Technical



• 5+ years experience with Shopify and coding in Liquid, setting up stores, and ongoing site maintenance
• 5+ years developing websites using HTML, SCSS, CSS and Javascript
• Github / Beanstalk / Version Control knowledge Experience with Tailwind an advantage
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with own and third-party code, API’s and services
• Thorough understanding of CLI’s and developer tools
• An understanding of website performance and optimisation
• Strong experience of working with major 3rd party ecommerce technologies including CRM, Search and Merch, Shipping, Tax, Returns, Subscriptions

General



• Provide written technical solutions to be included within Discovery Documents and Statements of Works, delivering to an agreed scope and timeline
• Ability to accurately scope and estimate technical tasks
• Work collaboratively with your Crew and other Crews within the Agency to ensure we’re delivering the best sites in the galaxy and providing the best possible solutions to our Merchants
• Be a point of escalation/mentorship for less experienced crew members
• Be comfortable working in person or via online collaboration with clients and partners to support project discovery and delivery
• Experience working and communicating with ecommerce partners, implementing their solutions and working with the integrations
• Good problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of industry trends, best practices and new tech

• Knowledge share within the Crew
• Ability to code review your own and other developers work
• Interest in Shopify Headless, Apps, and back-end technologies
